Last week I put some of you on the treadmill. I covered up the display so you could not see how fast you were running. I told you to look straight ahead and just focus on your breathing and your run. I told you to take your mind out of the game, and just let your body be and respond like it should. It was amazing! Everyone I did it to, ran faster than they would of ever dared to try on their own. When I showed them how fast I got them they were amazed and also said it did not feel to them like they were really going that fast. Once again its the mind body connection. Sometimes you have to take that mind out of the game, in order to BRAVE YOURSELF a little further in your fitness. We can't always stay at the same pace if we want to progress. You can't let fear hold you back. Jump through the fear barrier and try something new, or push just a little harder this week! You can do it!! I'm going to jump through my fear barrier..and to be quite honest I'm scared to death. I want to be a swimmer. A real swimmer that does not have to use a swim belt anymore. I want to have a nice flow of movement. I want to be able to be develop great swimming muscles. Starting this friday morning..I am in private swimming lessons!! I'm going to do it! I'm going to try to take my mind out of the game, and let my body do what I know it can do!

We are back from a amazing trip to San Diego! Had so much fun with Ryan and Kristen, and got to celebrate our 20th anniversary! I will include some pics of our fun Valentines 10k race, sea world, and just the beauty of the trip. It was so sunny and hot the whole time! I will get working on Military testing times this week and see if I can post them by next week! Happy Valentines Day!!
