So We have a accountant..aka..my client Sheila! She comes over last night to work on the books and informs us she is having contractions ten minutes apart..She also tells my husband not to tell me, but she went running! Running?? I began to picture her water breaking all over the office, and both Jon and I passed out cold. Usually I should be thrilled to hear that a client is out running!!! This girl is obviously ready for this baby to come!! Just not at my house Sheila!!I did just check in with her a little while ago, and the contractions stopped!!! Whew!!!

I made a really good dinner I am going to share with you. You take yellow squash and zucchini, and slice it length wise. Buy some fresh mushrooms, red peppers, and corn on the cob. Slice the corn into rings. Place into tin foil for tin foil dinners. Add shrimp..I did the frozen kind in a bag. Drizzle olive oil and Balsamic Vinegar over shrimp and vegetables.Add some pepper and cracked sea salt. Cook in oven for about 40 min until vegetables are cooked but still a little crisp! It was delicious!

All women fall under three classifications of body types. Mesomorphs tend to be muscular. Endomorphs are more rounded and voluptous. Ectomorphs are slim and linear in shape. Mesomorphs respond to strength training by building muscle mass much faster than Ectomorphs, even though they may be following the same training regimens. Endomorphs generally need to lose body fat in order to see size and shape take place. Ectomorphs are less likely to build muscle mass but will gain strength. One of the principles of strength training is that if you overload a muscle, you increase its size. With cardio, the overload is typically your own body weight. Activities like stair stepping, or step training result in changes in the size and shape of the muscles of the lower body. Increasing the height of the step or adding power movements to your workouts will result in muscle, because this increases the overload. If you are one who bulids muscle to quickly in your lower half and do not find it to be what you want, you could reduce the step height or lower the impact. However this will reduce the aerobic value. Understanding your body, and how you repond to exercise can help in setting realistic goals for YOU! Don't compare yourself to anyone else. There are just to many factors that are different from each individual. You are only working towards your goal... so keep focused on you!!!

Lindsay said this about boot camp....I do boot camp because I have a hard time dieting. During boot camp I can stick with eating healthy because its a week long, and I am competitive so I am likely to stick with it! I think boot camp is so fun! I love the people and always have a good time no matter how hard it is!!!!

Made it home from Disney and the fitness conference. Had a amazing time, and learned alot! Can't wait to try some new things and share some of the information that I learned! You know those little discs that you all hate? The ones that look like frisbees? Get ready for me to be pulling them out again soon! I was literally dripping with sweat everywhere. Kristen and I took a striding class there too! That was actually alot of fun..besides the fact the guy in front of me kept farting the whole time..and when your doing cardio your sucking in alot of air...need I say more?? Took a 2 hour class with a doctor who specializes in muscles and food..boy did I learn alot! I will post some pictures. See you all this week!!

Today I ran 2.5 miles! I know thats not far,,but for me it was! I am so happy. I have not been this happy since my wedding and the birth of my children. Its been 6 weeks since my knee injury. Here is what I have learned...never pray for patience, you don't know what form it will come in! Learn to respect..respect your body and the fact that it takes time to heal..Love..learn to love your body and all its flaws.. and joy...I felt pure joy as I ran this morning! I can't put it into words! I now remember that running is a gift my body gives me and allows me to do! If I take my body for granted, I could lose that gift!! I also have gone back to the root of knowledge. I am staying in the cross training mode! I have not felt very lucky these last 6 weeks...but let me tell you this.. I am truly blessed!
