I dit it I dit it I dit it!!! Yes, after 38 years of my life and never being able to jump into water where I can't touch, I did it. I faced my fear yesterday and jumped into the deep end! It was one of my proudest moments. It was huge for me! I have a great teacher who is really teaching me. I'm spending 2 days a week in the water.. and wow I'm working all kinds of muscles! It reminds me that we never know what we can do unless we try. Speaking of trying..Stephanie has been on 21 day challenge for 14 days and has lost 10 pounds in 14 days already! I will let you know how much she lost at the end of the 21 days.. Krista and Kellee are loosing weight by the buckets! And to my pregnant girls who keep on keepin on. Not always so easy when your pregnant. Congrats! Sending get well wishes to Sheila..she went on a run the other night and stepped of a curb wrong and broke her foot and ankle, and has to have pins inserted with surgery on Friday! Sending her lots of positive thoughts! Will post bootcamp info soon..

Hey there! Well military testing poster is done finally! Glad that is over! I'm looking at dates for boot camp. Will be posting info by the end of this week!

REASONS WE TRAIN SO HARD: The average american add 10 pounds of fat per decade. Loses 5 pounds of muscle every decade. Reduces muscle mass by 1/3 by the age of 60. Women can thank estrogen, epinephrine and glucagon for encouraging fat storage in their hips, thighs, and butt. Reduced body fat decreases chances of disease. Well and lets face it...it feels better and looks better to be a a good body fat level.

Even when you've endured a rough day at the office, battled a daunting freeway, or had a full day of stress, you know the world will right itself after a workout. Research shows that the mood enhancing effects of exercise are greater for regular trainees than for slackers. I know I have never regreted a workout! So if you want to feel better and get rid of some of that stress...go do your workout!!!!

More to be posted soon!!xoxo

Update on my swimming..first session not to bad! I'm excited to see what I can accmplish this week! I have had to really visualize this goal for quite sometime now. I have a vision board next to my bed and I look at it every night. Its personal, and it can be small or big things. Its fun to see how visions turn into reality. I have a challenge for you. Get a calander..start on March 2nd...color half the square in pink if you exercised, and half the square in green if you ate clean too. If you only exercised but ate bad, then only half would be colored..get it?? Please do not make me go into detail about the food! You all know what clean eating is and what is not! You know this. One day a week is your cheat meal and you would just color that half in red so this signals the cheat meal. Remember cheat meals, are not CHEAT DAYS! Print your March calander out, so that it may be turned into me at the end of the month. Can't wait to see how colorful your month will reflect!Make it part of your day to visualize yourself as the fit, healthy person you want to be.
I want to give some big Kudos out to Krista who has lost 28 pounds in 7 weeeks, and Kellee who has lost 19 pounds in 7 weeks. Angie is down 15 pounds! Way to go girls! Congratulations to Mandy and Nicki who are both pregnant, and still working out! Thank you to Corinne who is always so good in helping provide wipes and spray!! You guys are great!
