For the next several weeks I will be posting some of my favorite things. I often get asked about what i do for snacks, or meals, or protein> I am going to share some of my favorite things with you. Tonights first post is my favorite salad dressing--yum.It is made by panera bread and has no sugar and no sugar alcohols and is fat free. Keep it cold, and it makes a summer salad delicous.I included a pic of it. I found some pics from awhile back that i thought would be fun to re-post! Enjoy!my!

Happy St. Pattys Day! I completely forget it was St. Patricks Day- until we walked into church and a friend said...ummm none of you are wearing green, better watch your back! Ha ha. In honor of this great day I am giving you all a surprise...I am pushing Military testing to the very last week of April.I will be doing a boot camp either the 3rd week or last week of April, so we will schedule military testing around that!It will be done though!! I really really hope you will take this time to prepare yourself! I do not want anyone to walk away feeling nothing more than pride for knowing you gave it all you got. We should be military testing ready all year long. That is the truth. You should be always working on bettering your strength and everyone should be able to run a mile and a half!! So get ready!! I want to dedicate this post to SYBIL--- She just turned 60 on sat! I hope she will not be upset that I revealed her age,but somehow I believe she won't.She is in great shape at 60!! I feel like I have walked the yellow brick road with Sybil. We started on a path together, both believing that the end holds something wonderful. On this road we have hit some "wicked witches" and some "flying monkeys" but its all part of the journey. I can honestly tell you this- I am thrilled to walk this road with her. She has come so far!Along the way she has gained so much strength and endurance. She has battled eating issues- and been a advocate of fitness to family, co-workers, and friends. She sets the bar high, and is not afraid of a challenge. She told me last week that she still gets sick to her stomach before she comes to train, and yet she is here come hell or high water twice a week, and every week! She has taught me so much!! I watched her suffer terribly as her son was on a transplant list and was dying. I can't imagine the pain a mother must have to go through as they slowly watch their child slip away. Through it all her hope never waivered!Training became Sybils way out of depression or sadness. She used that time to workout lifes frustrations, and she knew the importance of keeping her own body strong and healthy. I'm happy to report that her son did get his transplant and is slowly improving. I'm happy to report that Sybil is in the best shape of her life and continues down the bright and sunny road of health and happiness. I am grateful today for Sybil and how she has touched my life. She has brought her husband Daryl into training, and her nephew Mike and his wife Colette- and its just exciting. If you see a group skipping down the yellow brick road- I hope it's us. We wont be in glittered red heels- but we will be in "gym" shoes, and we might not be walking! Love u all> Annie

Boy did this weekend give us a taste of spring, or what? It felt so good to say hello to Mr. Sun, and the t-shirt weather on sat was the best!! Melody and I did a kick butt workout on sat!We even followed it up with a little game of punishment- that we did 6 times! Needless to say I deserved some Mexican food sat night! ( all Teri's fault, by the way)!I scarfed that down, like I had walked the dessert of Mexico just to get there(also Teri's fault)ha! As soon as we start getting some nice weather- we will have a boot camp!! Got some new spring ideas, I'm just itching to try!! Sybil needs a little encouragement- she has a goal of 5 pounds to lose, and in 13 days! Go sybil! She has a pretty important birthday coming up on the 16th! I also want top Thank Kristen who was so generous to our team adrenaline-(ragnar team) and paid everyones entry fee! She is so generous, and I am so grateful to her! Thank you Kristen! We have our half marathon team run next sat the 9th. I think most everyone is coming!Lets hope for a beautiful morning. We will meet at 8:45 sharp at the church corner, and will plan for 8 miles! I want to thank many of you- this is probably the first year of my training that anyone who has been sick with a cough or runny nose or even-48 hours after flu symptoms- has actually honored my policy!! I have not had to send anyone home! I hate to send anyone home, and I hate worse that someone has put me in that position that I must do so! So thank you!! May we all be blessed with great health and strong immune systems!!Remember to set the bar high- set it low and you have nothing to work towards! Start practicing for military testing!
