Thanks to everyone who showed up for girls night! It was alot of fun. Had a waitress take some pics but they did not turn out because of the lighting.
I read a article this week about the germs in gyms. It was soooooo gross! I do think we do a great job about cleaning everything after use, and bringing towels as barriers woks well! They did make a few suggestions for trainers. I would like to put this into use:
Use hand sanitizer before you start your work out. So right after you weigh to chart your card, use hand sanitzer before we start.
If you bring a full size towel, and it is also being used to wipe your sweat, then please just use that towel as your barrier towel, and bring a small hand towel as your sweat rag!
We are coming up on cold/flu season. Please be respectful, and remember if you are sick to stay home!
Dont forget to get practicing for military testing!
We have 2 groups going in for the lottery of the Ogden half...hope they pick us!

I HAVE BEEN STUDYING FOR 3 EXAMS WE HAVE TO TAKE AS TRAINERS..I HAVE TAKEN 2 IN THE LAST WEEK AND HAVE 1 BIG ONE TO GO.. READING SOME OF THIS STUFF IS A REFRESHER, AND YET IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU READ SOME OF IT, ITS SHOCKING!
DID YOU KNOW THAT IF YOU STOP EXERCISING YOU START TO LOSE MUSCLE MASS IN 72-96 HOURS? THATS YOUR HARD EARNED MUSCLE GOING RIGHT OUT THE DOOR. YEP ITS TRUE!
EVER WANTED A QUESADILLA? WELL IN MEXICO IT HAS 540 CALORIES...HERE IN THE U.S. IT HAS 1200 CALORIES AND A WHOPPING 75 GRAMS OF FAT!
IT IS ALL ABOUT CHOICES...HOW WILL YOU FUEL YOUR BODY? WILL YOU WORKOUT?

Starting( next week) we will start a new system...this will include weekly weigh ins. As soon as I have it ready I will go over the details of it!
You want a goal this week? Your goal is to do 1000 jump ropes in under 11:30..Can u do it?
ARE YOU READY FOR A FALL BOOT CAMP?? Date will be October 1st -5th...
and now because I said that it will be the worst snow storm Utah has seen in 100 years! lol Lets hope it stays beautiful fall weather and a little cooler in the eves for our workouts! I will post more details soon!
I will also be doing a Halloween Blast fitness class on October the 27th in the am...details for that will post soon as well! Mark your calendars!
Don't forget our annual turkey trot on Thanksgiving morning!!
We are doing a girls night out on Sept 21st....we were thinking dinner at Rainbow Gardens and shop their after, or dinner somewhere fun in the area. Everyone who wants to go is invited. We can choose a time when we find out who wants to come!

I know you all know about the passing of my grandpa. Thank you for the love and support. I got flowers, gifts, cards, and visits, and lunch. 2 of you friends wept with me as I wept. Even though all of those things were so nice, it was the fact that you stood with me in my time of need. It was so comforting to me and I am so grateful for you.
Taking care of someone who is so sick, makes you so grateful for your health. Health is so important. Some people who are sick are getting weaker..that is why we must fight to get stronger! Its not something we can ever take for granted.
I'm grateful for exercise. It is a release of emotion and anxiety and a way to find your inner most thoughts.If my head is not on straight with something, I know a good run will help me.
I know I am supposed to inspire you..but you INSPIRE me.It's rare that I get a client to miss a session, and when you do, you always try to get in that week at another time. That is inspiring! I give you guys a goal, and you do it! I don't even get excuses anymore. That is inspiring! Your not afraid of sweat or hard work! Most of you say..bring it on Annie! Its inspiring! you re-arrrange all your schedules to attend boot camp. Inspiring! I did 4 timed miles last week and not one single person complained or whined. I think I did a happy dance...by golly I THINK YOUR GETTING IT!
