Do you bring ANTs into my gym?? They are not welcome in my gym..no way!  ANTs stands for automatic negative thoughts.We all get them from time to time. The important thing is knowing just what to do with them! The mind/body connection is so important. You have to be able to learn to call upon your inner strength. Find your "mental toughness" that brings out a little fighter in you. Don't allow negative thoughts to de-rail you from your physical goals. Here are some I hear from time to time..I can't do that, I'm not strong enough...This is to steep for me..I'm to tired today..I will never lose this weight..My diet is going to be awful this week because I'm so busy...ANTs ANTs ANTs! You have to replace them with a positive thought and a positive picture. You have to see yourself making physical gains and be ready to exert the physical effort in order to reach them. You are strong... You can do this... So what if it is a hill?..The weight will come off.. and yes you can work hard!
Here is a example.. After a good workout that I thought was done, and yes I was tired..I was asked to do swim sprints and to be timed by the lifeguard and my friend. My first thought was..I have never done a sprint..I can't do that..I'm not fast enough. Within  5 second time frame I spotted my own ANTs climbing right on up to my brain! I squashed them immediately..and said ok! Not only did I do it, but I did it in under the time I was given to beat!! Smashed those little ANTs! Thats what I want you to do..leave your ANTs at the door when you come to train and lets go make our dreams a reality!!!

This had to be my best fall weathered boot camp ever! It was so perfect! We had a good time. We went long and we went hard!!! I only wish I would of taken some pictures. ugh! These ladies weighed in on Monday, and again on wed, so really just 48 hours. Ami lost 4.3 pounds in that time, and almost everyone else averaged 3 pounds! 3 pounds is so good in that short of time! YAY! I was not going to give a biggest loser gift beacause it was a short boot camp...but I want to give Ami 40$ off the next boot camp! She has been such a great supporter to me and my camps. She works so hard and always shows up ready to go! Congrats to Ami, her hard work paid off! Now girls..the challenge is to keep it off!!! Don't let your hard work go to waste! Just a reminder to all...MILITARY TESTING is the 2nd week of November! Don't forget our annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning! I will do 2 distances that day for you to choose from. Bikers are welcome as well!

I'm back from Cali! Of course, the most exciting news is that my sister is now married! She looked so pretty! She is so happy! The second most exciting news would have to be that I ran into Gerard Butler( he is the actor that was in bounty hunter with Jennifer Aniston) and I am still so excited about it! He was really cool, and yes, handsome! He is filming a movie about a famous surfer! I will attach the picture( it's the one with me, Gerard, and my friend Melissa). The weather was beautilful. Her wedding was right on the beach! My husband found the most beautiful perfect sand dollar that morning. During pictures..another one washed up right at my sisters feet! They are very hard to find there. I took that as a great sign for the day!! Boot camp will start at 5:45 pm tomorrow night. Weigh ins will be at my house from 5:25 TO 5:35 tomorrow night. Stop by so I can quickly record your weight, then drive on over to the church where we will begin!

The game is on. WHOOT WHOOT! Boot camp will be held next week. I will post more details soon! I apologize to those who really want to come and can't because of my earlier start time. We are losing our daylight hours fast. For the safety of us all, I need to start early. If you are a client who pays monthly, this will have to be paid seperate. It's easier for accounting and tax purposes, and will need to be paid up-front! Thank you! More to come soon!!!!

Sorry about the delay on boot camp info. Going to do things a little different this time around.. Going to run a 3 day boot camp..I will call survivor. It will be at least a hour and a half every night. This means we have to start earlier because it is getting darker earlier now. I need to have at least 8-10 people who can make it. I will need a commitments to me by no later than this Friday so I can make a final decision. The dates for this will be Oct. 17th, 18th, 19th. We will start at 5:45, and will go at least a hour and a half. Each night will cost 23$, a total for all 3 of 69$. In order to participate you must commit to at least two. One night a bike will be required. If you do not have a bike, then let me know and we can find you one. I would also like you to bring a light that clips on you in case we are out and it is still dusk. They usually cost around 5$.I realize that this is UEA weekend. This 3 day camp will still allow you to have thurs and fri free with your kids and family. Let me know by friday, and I will post my decision and details to follow!
